Job Summary

The Senior QA Engineer (SDET) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex SaaS solutions across web, mobile, and backend platforms. This role requires deep expertise in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, executing a wide range of test strategies, and integrating QA practices into modern CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate combines a hands-on approach to testing with a strong foundation in automation, enabling efficient and scalable QA processes. Beyond technical execution, this position is highly collaborative, partnering with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to uphold best practices in accessibility, performance, and security. Ultimately, this role ensures that every product release meets the highest standards of functionality, scalability, and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to QA strategy and automation efforts across multiple projects.

  • Execute both manual and automated testing for responsive web, mobile, and backend applications.

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and reusable test suites.

  • Ensure effective integration of test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Perform regression, integration, functional, load, stress, and performance testing.

  • Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure test coverage, quality gates, and release readiness.

  • Promote QA best practices, including accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA+), performance optimization, and security testing.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of QA experience, with a strong background in SDET practices.

  • Proven experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.

  • Solid experience testing across web, mobile, and backend systems.

  • Strong knowledge of testing concepts: regression, integration, performance, load, and security.

  • Experience working in Agile environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
