Job Summary

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team at Northwest Medical Center, a brand new facility in Tucson, Arizona. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound exams, to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses to patients and referring physicians.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques through ongoing education and training.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including one weekend per month.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a Diagnostic Radiology residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR).
  • Current medical licensure in the state of Arizona.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical data and make accurate diagnoses.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

  • Experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care.
  • Advanced training in a subspecialty of Diagnostic Radiology, such as musculoskeletal or neuroradiology.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technologies.
  • Strong leadership and teaching skills, with the ability to mentor and educate junior staff members.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • A base salary of $550,000 per year.
  • A sign-on bonus of $80,000.
