Job Summary
As a Patient Care Operations Specialist, you will own the patient travel experience at Carrum and be responsible for the ongoing execution of the patient travel program. You will report to the Manager, Patient Care Operations, and work closely with cross-functional teams to solve problems and respond to their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Travel Experience Ownership: You will be responsible for ensuring that the patient travel process works seamlessly for our patients and the organization.
- Workflow Analysis and Improvement: You will analyze travel workflows and make suggestions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- New Client and Provider Onboarding: You will assist with new client and provider onboarding and ensure that workflows are updated to account for any necessary changes.
- Standardization and Simplification: You will evangelize standardization and simplification whenever possible and help ensure best practices are followed by your peers on the Patient Care Team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with peers in the Patient Care, Client Success, and Provider Operations teams to solve problems and respond to their needs.
- Processing and Execution of Critical Patient Tasks: You will own processing and execution for other critical patient tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Experience in Digital Health: You have 2 years of experience in roles that work with patients or end-users of digital health platforms.
- Commitment to Service Excellence: You are committed to providing the highest level of service through the right mix of empathy, professionalism, and integrity.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: You have data-driven and analytical skills, and are able to effectively analyze and communicate data to drive high-value, actionable insights.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Patient-Centric Values: You have strong “patient first” values and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Self-Funded Employer Benefit Plans: You have experience with self-funded employer benefit plans and an understanding of healthcare bundled payment models.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You have an entrepreneurial spirit, creative problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking.
- Independent Work Style: You are a natural self-starter who is comfortable working independently.
What We Offer
Competitive Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $60,000, depending on geography and level of experience, plus equity and an annual bonus.
