About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Paid Search and Google Ads Manager who is passionate about driving customer acquisition and lead generation for ecommerce, direct-to-consumer (DTC), and retail brands. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for expanding our clients' presence across Google, YouTube, and Microsoft, with a focus on Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns. If you have experience with Amazon Ads, that's a bonus, but it's not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive customer acquisition and lead generation across paid advertising channels
  • Optimize campaigns to drive profitable growth and deliver against client KPIs
  • Manage planning and execution of paid advertising, including keyword and targeting research, campaign setup, monitoring, reporting, analysis, optimization, and budgeting
  • Collaborate with clients to create custom reports and dashboards that help them succeed in business
  • Provide performance updates and make recommendations based on insights
  • Stay up-to-date with new and emerging technologies, best practices, and capabilities to help our clients stay ahead of the competition
  • Contribute to our company's thought leadership by writing one blog post every two months covering your area of expertise

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 3+ years of experience running paid search and shopping campaigns
  • 2+ years of experience working with ecommerce brands
  • Experience with feed management tools, such as Feedonomics, DataFeedWatch, and Simprosys App
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Merchant Center, and Shopify
  • Familiarity with marketing tools, such as Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager
  • Strong understanding of Google Sheets and Excel formulas
  • Experience working collaboratively with developers, designers, and marketers
  • A creative and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to try new things
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A curious and empathetic mindset, with a passion for understanding our clients' needs and goals
