Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced K5 Reading & Math Tutor to provide high-quality, in-person tutoring sessions to students preparing for standardized tests such as SSAT, ISEE, and HSPT. As an In-Person Academic Tutor, you'll work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that cater to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tutoring sessions to students preparing for the SSAT/ISEE/HSPT exams, focusing on K5 reading and math.
• Design and execute customized lesson plans for individual students, tailoring your approach to their learning style and needs.
• Administer practice exams and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with students' families to keep them informed of student progress, providing regular updates and feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in the SSAT/ISEE/HSPT exams and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of session details, scores, and student progress, ensuring seamless communication with students and families.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience in tutoring, teaching, or test preparation, with a focus on K5 reading and math.
• Strong interpersonal and clear communication skills, with the ability to connect with students, families, and colleagues.
• The ability to develop customized lesson plans for individual students, adapting to their unique needs and learning styles.
• A flexible schedule, with availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• The ability to work independently and remotely, as needed, with minimal supervision.
• A self-motivated and committed approach to helping students succeed, with a passion for education.

Preferred Qualifications
