Key Responsibilities

  • Client Experience:
    • Engage with clients and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
    • Resolve client issues and answer inquiries to ensure a positive client experience.
    • Model and convey client support best practices with all colleagues to deliver a distinctive and brilliant client experience.
  • Tasks:
    • Provide clients with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient assistance.
    • Prescribe items available for purchase to clients and suggest exchange-ups as well as associate items.
    • Register client purchases on assigned sales register, collect cash, and dispense change as required.
    • Perform obligations as assigned by Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data.
    • Report prescription mistakes to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to Organization policies and procedures corresponding to pharmacy errors.
  • Preparation and Self-Improvement:
    • Acquire and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state-required certification/registration.
    • Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Supervisor or assigned by corporate and secure continuing education credits.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Conversant in reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens.
  • Good numerical skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Knowledge of store inventory control.
  • PTCB certification.
