About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing patient enrollment, and handling high-volume client requests. Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize Walgreens' remedy information entry methods and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the appropriate system.
  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate to obtain missing medication data, and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Settle all data entry-related exceptions.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
  • Settle Outsider Exceptions by researching, gathering data, making amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual arrangement requirements.
  • Make phone calls to back up plans and others to acquire data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise settle the Outsider Exceptions.
  • Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at different locations.
  • Recognize and convey issues to senior-level staff as fitting.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Essential level PC skills (e.g., start and close down PC, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and access data online).
  • Essential web search skills to include opening a program, composing in URLs in the right area, using a web search engine, bookmarking a webpage, exploring using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
  • Transitional level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, arranging reports).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Transitional to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, arranging documents).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
