About the Role

As a Customer Experience Concierge, you'll be the face of American Express, acting as an ambassador of our brand and delivering on our promise to provide the world's best customer experience. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing travel, card, concierge, and lifestyle services to our Card Members. Your goal will be to create a memorable experience for each customer, tailoring our products and services to meet their unique needs and deepening their relationship with American Express.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and provide access to Card Members upon arrival at reception, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience from beginning to end, resolving issues and concerns in a proactive and innovative manner.
  • Employ the Customer First philosophy, meeting customers' needs and expectations through exceptional communication and consultation skills.
  • Provide concierge and lifestyle recommendations, as well as travel consultation and minimal reservation assistance, to enhance the customer experience.
  • Partner with food and beverage lounge partners to accommodate the needs of our Card Members, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and professional atmosphere in the lounge.
  • Make decisions quickly and effectively in response to unanticipated situations, prioritizing the Card Member's experience.
  • Utilize multiple technology platforms with ease, providing assistance in a face-to-face customer environment.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 1-year recent experience servicing premium customers, preferably in the airline, lounge, or travel industry.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service, with proactive solutions and a customer-centric approach.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to delight customers through every interaction.
  • The ability to listen to customers' needs and offer confident recommendations, resulting in high satisfaction.
  • A positive and professional attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment, being resilient and flexible in response to business needs.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required for certain job tasks.
