Workwarp is seeking an exceptional Customer Engagement Manager - Budget Management to join the Marketing Center of Excellence within Disney Experiences (DX). As a key member of the Customer Engagement (CE) Budget Management team, you will play a vital role in connecting consumers to the magic of Disney through data-driven communication plans across various channels.
About the Role & Team
The Customer Engagement team is part of the Marketing Center of Excellence within Disney Experiences, responsible for developing holistic, audience-focused communication plans that drive consumer engagement. The CE Budget Management team is seeking a highly skilled professional to support the DX businesses by providing strategic financial leadership and analytical expertise.
As a Customer Engagement Manager - Budget Management, you will serve as a liaison between global marketing teams and various finance teams, ensuring the accurate and efficient administration of budgetary tasks. You will be responsible for developing positive relationships, providing outstanding service, and making recommendations to the team, partners, and senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices for payment and facilitate timely remittance with multiple partners
- Manage and prioritize payment activities using the CE workflow system
- Research and resolve issues with past invoices and respond to internal financial audits
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve existing processes and develop new ones
- Partner with Customer Engagement team members to respond to budget requests and create strong partnerships with stakeholders across multiple Disney businesses
- Present and communicate effectively to all levels of leadership, including senior executives
- Supervise the CE Budget team mailbox and lead daily communications, inquiries, and updates
- Request, monitor, and maintain purchase orders and insertion orders required to pay vendor invoices
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual finance submissions, and aid in the development of new tracking and reporting templates
- Help prepare tools and processes for future planning and analysis, and promote the development and sustainment of team policy and procedure
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of work experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years of progressive experience in Finance/Accounting or Business Development
- Demonstrated analytical ability and strong computer/systems skills, with proven experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Proficient experience in large data sets and Excel formulas
- Practical experience with Coupa, SAP, or similar enterprise resource planning software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience communicating with team members at all levels, including senior management
- Ability to drive results through a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong detail orientation, and great partnership skills
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with internal partners, 3rd party vendors, and agencies
- Proven track record of working with a sense of urgency and curiosity in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Preferred Qualifications
Additional qualifications that will make you a more competitive candidate include:
- Exposure to other tools, such as Smartsheet and Workfront
- BA/BS Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
