About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, USA. As a Customer Engineer, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, providing technical expertise and guidance on Google Cloud solutions, with a focus on AI and Machine Learning. You will work closely with our Technical Outreach teams to identify and address client needs, develop strategic plans, and deliver tailored solutions to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key client technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
• Provide AI expertise to support technical engagements with Google's clients, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering with product management to prioritize solutions that impact customer adoption of Google Cloud.
• Work with clients to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in client/partner environments.
• Recommend integration strategies, enterprise models, platforms, and application foundations to implement comprehensive solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
• Attend client sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in virtualization or cloud technologies in a client-facing or support role.
• Familiarity with large data, AI, and numerical programming systems (e.g., TensorFlow, Python, MATLAB).
