Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, producing data-driven insights, creating high-impact recommendations, and delivering precise results to partners and stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Configuration groups, to identify areas of opportunity, develop and execute follow-up plans, and influence prioritization decisions with data.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct thorough investigations, produce data-driven, key insights, create high-impact recommendations, and deliver precise results to partners and stakeholders.
• Discuss findings with a clear perspective and compelling observations so your insights can be used to inform product development.
• Create, disseminate, and maintain adaptable self-service tools and dashboards that align with broader departmental objectives, enabling cross-functional partners to access data and identify significant insights.
• Act as a thought partner with Product, Design, and Configuration groups to identify areas of opportunity, develop and execute follow-up plans, and influence prioritization decisions with data.
• Tutor departmental colleagues on analysis best practices, technical skills, and developments in our organization's data engineering.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative and analytical field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics.
• 2+ years of work experience in a relevant field, preferably in business analysis, operations, startup/tech, or marketing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication style based on the audience.
• Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated experience using data from a large number of sources to solve complex problems, tell a story, and drive overall strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL/Eden, Google Cloud Platform, and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience with visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, Looker, or similar.
• Knowledge of Python/Git is a plus, but not required.
