Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated team member to welcome, assist, and exceed guest service expectations. This role focuses on guest interaction, problem-solving, and promoting both physical and digital services to enhance the shopping experience. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and effortless checkout, guest service, and order fulfillment experience. Skills: • Effective communication abilities are essential in actively involving and connecting with visitors • Improving guest experiences relies on the ability to troubleshoot effectively and make decisions that enhance overall satisfaction • Flexibility in responding to different guest interactions and requirements • Experience in promoting and retailing store benefits and offerings Responsibilities: • Uphold outstanding guest service by following established service standards • Welcome and engage with visitors in a warm and genuine way • Quickly assess guest requirements and tailor your approach to meet them • Help guests by providing information about products and problem-solving options • Ensure that scanning, bagging, and payment processing are carried out with precision and efficiency • Keep your workspace tidy and well-organized • Keep customers informed about promotions, recent arrivals, and upcoming store occasions • Motivate customers to sign up for loyalty programs and consider applying for store credit cards • Aid guests in utilizing and engaging with digital platforms, such as the store app and online services • Follow store guidelines when handling returns to uphold customer service standards • Optimize the procedures for order pick-up, drive-up services, and facilitating gift registry transactions • Help address and calm guest issues and reduce tensions in a manner that aligns with store regulations • Uphold regulatory compliance by ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws concerning regulated products • Assist with various store operations as required depending on the needs of the business Additional Skills: • Having the capacity to juggle multiple tasks while also paying close attention to specifics is a valuable skill • Offering comfort through providing information on products and services to guests • Rapid adjustment to changing technology and digital innovations • Being adept at both autonomous work functions and working collectively with a team Job Requirements: • Accurate management of cash transactions and efficient operation of the register system • Capability to perform tasks outside while exposed to different weather patterns • Frequently lifting and relocating merchandise weighing up to 15 lbs, with sporadic tasks that involve lifting items up to 40 lbs • Flexibility in scheduling, covering evenings, weekends, and holidays About Target Joining us translates to playing a vital part in our global logistics and inventory operations.
