About the Job

The Data Analytics Sales Specialist will act as a solution manager within the direct enterprise sales organization, guiding C-level executives and their leaders in shaping their cloud and data analytics strategy and enabling digital transformation. You will help clients improve their productivity and harness the power of our products to make their organizations more efficient, collaborative, and accessible to their customers. With a focus on building and maintaining executive relationships with clients as the data analytics informed authority, you will influence long-term strategic direction and collaborate with partners in execution projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct and maintain executive relationships with clients as the data analytics informed authority, influencing long-term strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with and manage partners in execution projects.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, including a broader enterprise plan across key industries, and focus on building accounts.
  • Assist clients in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud Data and Analytics solutions, articulating key solution differentiators and quantifiable business impacts.
  • Work with Google account and technical teams to develop and drive pipeline, provide expertise, and develop Go-To-Market (GTM) efforts with Google Cloud Platform partners.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in advancing research, data warehousing, or data management software.
  • Experience with organizing, pitching, and sending an off-site sales process.
  • Experience with business and legal agreements with Acquisition, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Experience working with architects and customer technical leads to build business cases and accompanying plans for execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the data life cycle from data storage, data processing and analysis, data documentation and maintenance, and data management/security.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Data and Analytics offerings (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, Dataproc, Pub/Sub).
  • Ability to design, pitch, and execute business and customer change process aligned to data and analytics.
