About the Role: Business Transformation Customer Insights (Remote)
We're seeking a highly skilled Business Transformation Customer Insights Expert to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our Business Transformation team, you'll play a critical role in driving our 2030 Leap Ambitions by uncovering valuable customer insights that inform our business strategy. Your work will help us transition from a traditional one-time purchase model to a recurring, renewable-license model, known as Solutions as a Service (SaaS), which will revolutionize the way we serve our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads complex statistical research studies, including primary, secondary, quantitative, and qualitative research, to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external market research and competitive intelligence vendors, consultants, and suppliers to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Provides data interpretation advice and insight generation to decision-makers, ensuring that our business is guided by data-driven insights.
- Collaborates with product teams to define Deere's Solutions as a Service (SaaS) customer segments and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Conducts research to forecast customer demand elasticity for new-to-the-world products, enabling us to make informed decisions about product development and launch.
- Provides coaching and support to strategic market research efforts across the Business Transformation Ecosystem and owns the planning and execution for the Business Transformation Customer Insights workstream.
Essential Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of market research experience in technology-driven, recurring revenue products, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact insights.
- Strong statistical analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make recommendations from data.
- Excellent communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, with a valid driver's license and willingness to comply with company travel policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience in agriculture, construction, robotics, automation, or autonomy, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these sectors.
- Succinct and clear communication style, with the ability to simplify complex topics into messages that are understood and remembered by a broad audience.

Education and Experience:
Ideally, you'll have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience in a relevant field, such as marketing, research, or a related discipline.
