**Job Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Proofreader & Customer Representative Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- Proofread Written and Digital Work Product: Review and edit written content, including marketing materials, internal documents, emails, press releases, and website text, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Crosscheck References and Data: Verify the accuracy of referenced facts, dates, pages, values, and cross-referenced materials, and maintain source and reference logs to support your work.
- Review Output for Consistency: Ensure that content aligns with company-wide work and maintains consistency in campaign, product, or brand voice.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Attend team meetings, provide constructive editorial input, and communicate with team members to effectuate consistent, accurate, and high-quality work product.
- Improve Editing Processes: Suggest process improvements and evaluate and recommend changes to create efficiencies in editing procedures.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Writing and Editing Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to write well, edit well, and proofread accurately.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in digital content management systems, word processing software, and other relevant tools.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, with the ability to catch trivial and glaring errors.
- Quick Reader: Ability to read and edit quickly, with deadlines always around the corner.
- Resourcefulness: Ability to track down resources and address questions or issues in the copy that may require additional research.
