We are looking for an experienced KDB+ Developer to join a high-impact technology team focused on building critical brokerage applications for regulatory reporting across multiple asset classes. This is a hands-on development role where you'll collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure performance, scalability, and compliance in a highly regulated environment.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's a plus)
- 6+ years of hands-on development experience with strong proficiency in:
- q/KDB+ programming
- Python, Shell/Perl scripting
- Unix/Linux
- SQL/Relational Databases (e.g., Oracle)
- Strong understanding of various programming paradigms and deployment automation
- Experience in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban) and CI/CD workflows
- Familiarity with tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, uDeploy, and Artifactory
- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for learning new technologies
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with AWS (S3, EC2, CloudFormation, Lambda, Python)
- Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka
- Exposure to UI frameworks like Angular or React
- Understanding of data flow, security, and compliance in a regulated environment
